Deliveries should be fulfilled within approximately 6-8 weeks of your order (production lead time for furniture items). Delivery dates and times will be arranged with you in advance.
For other ready items, deliveries should be fulfilled within approximately 7-10 working days.
We only accept returns/exchanges if your purchase has any manufacturing defect. Please inspect the item(s) upon receipt, and contact us within 7 days of delivery or pick-up to arrange for a return.
We do not accept returns for items picked up from our showroom. Items that have been ordered online must be returned within 30 days of delivery. Hewn will not be responsible for return pickup fees.
We regret to inform that only regular priced items that have been ordered online and delivered to you may be exchanged. Delivery and handling charges are non-refundable.

Use warm water and mild dish soap to clean. Cleaning furniture with water won't hurt - just be careful not to soak it. Use an old toothbrush for hard-to-reach areas. Wipe the dirt off the surface with soft cloths or paper towels until they come up fairly clean and dry off any residual moisture with a soft cloth.
After complete drying, we recommend applying our very own beeswax furniture polish available here.
The best way to protect the finish is to use a good-quality soft paste wax. Apply a small amount of polish with a soft cloth and work it into the wood in the direction of the grain. After a half hour or so, buff the surface using a clean soft cloth, again rubbing with the grain. You'll see a beautiful shine return to the finish that will last for many months.
A tried and tested formula is our very own in-house beeswax furniture polish available here.
The regular application of our beeswax furniture polish locks in natural oils that prevent drying of wood and give your furniture a beautiful gleam. We recommend applying the furniture polish fortnightly for the best results.
Yes we do. Maintenance services we provide include varnishing, polishing and sanding services.
